Dao Homestay, Thailand.

When I first decided to travel to the small village of Chiang Dao in Northern Thailand, I had no idea what to expect. There was little social media presence, there were some photos but with no story, and truthfully, I didn’t have a clue where I was going. So you could say I was (very!) pleasantly surprised when I arrived here. The people were lovely, the community was so welcoming, and the quality of our daily life and routines made me stay for several months. I ended up running their socials for a bit - and figured the best way to get more volunteers to want to come, was to create this easy to digest carousel - because while broken english texts from my host did manage to attract some people (me), I think this way of showing people where they might be going worked in our favour for sure. It keeps the language simple.
